Hi.! I'm Sarah.
Here I want to share some of my own personal story and a little extra about who I am so you can feel connection and why you may want to work with me.
My journey into coaching and wellness didn’t start from a textbook. It started on the floor of my own life.
I tried therapy. I tried to bury the pain. I tried to “just get on with it.” But my body eventually shut down completely. I couldn’t get out of bed. I couldn’t face work. I couldn’t keep pretending everything was fine while inside I was falling apart.
Supporting others has always been second nature to me. From the age of 14, I was mentoring and teaching in dance classes, helping people grow and feel confident. Encouraging others felt like home.
But life has its challenges for us all, keeps throwing them at us until we can’t carry it anymore. And for years, I did what so many of us do—I kept pushing, kept pretending I was fine, kept handling everyone else’s problems. Until one day, I simply couldn’t.

Why This Matters to Me
For years, I carried the weight of life’s turmoil, like so many of us do. But for me, it went deeper than just the day-to-day stress. I grew up with childhood PTSD that shaped the way my brain developed and how I saw myself in the world. It taught me that I didn’t matter, that I had no voice, that speaking up wasn’t safe, and that I’d always be misunderstood.
Those beliefs followed me into adulthood, quietly influencing everything—my relationships, my confidence, my ability to set boundaries. I found myself in a cycle of failed relationships, each one leaving me with flashbacks of my past and a growing sense of hopelessness. A strong 'I dont belong' went into believing I cant even make friends, and what's the point in trying. I was seeing things that always backed up my beliefs and so they stuck, more and more rooted everyday.Â
And then came the final straw.
At the time, I was working as a Gym Floor Manager, juggling constant demands and dealing with everyone else's problems and deadlines while being judged and challenged in a toxic workplace environment. The bullying and aggression from a colleague, combined with the silence or casual remarks of 'oh thats just him' or from my manager 'you cant have a problem with one of your own staff, manage him!' and laughed at me leaving me to it. Those who should have supported me, left me feeling invisible, worthless and powerless. It was like my childhood wounds were being ripped open all over again.
I tried to push through, to “just get on with it” like I always had. But the weight of it all—the constant battle, the stress, the pretending to be OK—finally became too much. My body, my mind, and my emotions all shut down at once.
I had a full breakdown—mental, emotional, and physical—all at once. Panic attacks left me locked up and terrified. Waking 2-4 times a night where my body woke me up, sat me bolt upright as I was unable to breath. Days came where I couldn’t even get out of bed, after years of always “getting on with it.”
I tried CBT therapy, but the six short sessions I was given just dragged me back into past pain without giving me the tools to move forward. I felt worse, not better.
Then came the GP appointment: 90 minutes of compassion, an offer of medication, and time signed off to rest. He gave me choices, not orders—and I’ll always be grateful for that.
I reluctantly tried one antidepressant, and the experience was awful. I felt numb, disconnected, and later blacked out. In that moment, I knew: this can’t be my answer.
So I made a decision.
If medication wasn’t my path, then I needed to understand myself—my mind, my body, my brain—and learn how to heal from the inside out.
The Turning Point
That decision changed everything.
I began to study how the brain works, a deeper knowledge of how our nervous system responds to stress in Fight Flight Freeze, and how movement and mindset can rewire us through neuroplasticity.
I turned to Life Coaching, EFT, Yoga, and Meditation as my new “medicine.” Slowly, steadily, I learnt how to rebuilt my mind and my resilience. The anxiety calmed. The depression lifted. My beliefs started to shift.Â
And I realised something that became my “why”:
👉 We are not powerless. And with the right tools and people around us, change is always there.
That’s why I do what I do. Because I know the fear, the exhaustion, the feeling of not mattering—and I also know the way to freedom by finding your way forward.
A Life Rebuilt
Along the way, life has given me some positive and incredible experiences too of course:
- Becoming a British Champion in Latin American formation dance (the original Strictly, known as Come Dancing and many Blackpool competition).
- Working on the QE2 Cruise Ship, around the Caribbean islands dancing!Â
- Being a Les Mills Trainer, Presenter and Assessor. My goodness, how I love this company and my role in helping instructors.
- I lived in New Zealand and went with ÂŁ150 and a return ticket—a leap of faith you'd say? That became nearly six years abroad. I miss it every day.Â
- Meeting Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace—twice!Â
- Dancing for Princess Diana, Elton John and on many TV show such as You Bet!Â
But my proudest achievement isn’t any title, adventure, or royal encounter. It’s this:
Creating a space where people like you can feel supported, inspired, and empowered to change your state, and change your life. The change ive helped make in others and the pride I have in being gifted the chance to help.Â
Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
👉 You are loved and you are capable of more than you know.
